I was born and raised in Rupert, ID. I graduated from high school in 2005. I then served a mission for the LDS church in Baja California Norte, Mexico. Upon returning in 2008, I moved to Hawai'i, where I worked and studied for a year and a half. I spent the fall of 2011 in Russia teaching English to elementary kids. I am currently going to school at Brigham Young University, where I am a Media Arts major. I am emphasizing in editing and cinematography. I love Mexican food, cheesecake and hiking.
The thing I love about movies is the ability it allows me to express myself. I've always considered myself an introvert. I really don't like being the center of attention. But I like being creative. Through films, I can create something and then sit back in the corner while others admire it. That way I can avoid any potentially uncomfortable situations; no one really cares about the editor or director of photography anyways. I really relate to what Garrison Keillor said when he wrote "We shy person need to write a letter now and then, or else we'll dry up and blow away". Just replace 'shy' with 'introvert' and 'write a letter' with 'make a video'. This does a good job explaining introverts. He explains the inner workings of my head pretty well.
